# STEAM education experience class # Arakawa Ward Future classroom where parents and children can learn exciting

The Arakawa Ward Committee of the Junior Chamber International Tokyo (Chairman: Yohei Nakanaka) will open from 2022:8 on Saturday, August 20, 11 at Kaisei Gakuen (00-4-2 Nishinippori, Arakawa-ku, Tokyo). We will hold a symposium and experiment class on STEAM education.
STEAM education is an integrated learning of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, and Art is added to STEAM education. It's an educational method.
The goal of Arakawa Ward is to “nurture children who will open up the future and live with dignity.”
One of the key items to achieve this goal is to "utilize ICT equipment and acquire 1st century skills." STEAM education provides exciting learning across subjects, focusing on the fields that will be indispensable in the future digital society. It is the education necessary to acquire type ability.
On the day of the event, leading experts in each field of STEAM will be on stage, and a panel discussion will be held on the human resources and education required for the next generation, with the aim of spreading STEAM education to homes and communities in Arakawa Ward. .

Current position since April 2020. Two Technology,Engineering: Mr. Haruhi Katsumata|Student at NASA, current JAXA employee, Department of Space Engineering Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Tobitate!He studied abroad at NASA in study abroad Japan, and is currently doing space research at JAXA.
