The Tokyo Youth Chamber (Location: Hirakawa-cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Kenta Yamamoto) will hold the Taito Ward Committee (Chairman : Ryohei Kaneko) The sponsored project “STEAM Lab” will be held at Asakusa View Hotel 2022F Shounma (7-3-10 Nishi-Asakusa, Taito-ku, Tokyo).

[What is STEAM] 

A coined word that combines the initials of five English words: science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.An educational philosophy that combines science and mathematics education with creativity education in the five areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics.It is a cross-disciplinary study that creates a cycle of knowing (exploring) and making (creation).

By getting people to feel the appeal and future potential of STEAM education, it will be an opportunity to create an environment that facilitates the spread of STEAM education in Taito City.The aim is to further promote STEAM education in Taito City by presenting to Taito City the voices of participating children and their parents who have experienced the potential and appeal of STEAM education.
