Senkyowari/Touronwari

In this election, we will implement "Senkyowari" and "Touronwari". When you go to the polls or participate in debates, local stores offer great deals.
For further information, please read here

Go to the polls and eat out at a local restaurant for a good deal.
I want to establish a culture that says, ``It's a good idea to go there.''

We hope for such excitement.

*To apply the campaign, "voted votes" and "debate viewed votes" are required.
*Senkyo Toron Discount is not a system in which profits go to Election Discount/Tokyo Junior Chamber (hereinafter referred to as the management organization). It is operated using the expenses and sponsorship money raised by the management organization.

What is a public debate?

This is a meeting where candidates participate and listen to their arguments for policies and concrete solutions regarding ``problems facing politics.'' This is a very valuable opportunity to compare the arguments of each candidate on the same theme. Since no original editing is done, you can see the candidate's real arguments.

We operate in a fair and neutral manner so as not to be biased toward any particular candidate, political party, or particular ideology or cause. The Tokyo Junior Chamber's articles of incorporation stipulate that it is not allowed to work for a specific political party, and we have been holding public debates for over 20 years.

Parent-child voting

Due to a partial amendment to the Public Offices Election Act, starting in 2016, the range of children allowed to enter voting stations was expanded from "infants" to "persons under 18 years of age." Voting with parents and children can help deepen children's interest in society. A survey by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications shows that people who have voted with their parents as children are more than 20% more likely to vote than those who have not. Voting with parents and children is connected to children's future voting.
