On January 1th (Monday), the first monthly meeting of 16, “2023 no Kagayaki ~Let's Join the Legacy of Tokyo~” was held at the Tokyo Dome Hotel.
The January meeting was a project to announce the new fiscal year's exercise policy, and JCI Tokyo's activities for 1 were disseminated, including the policy of Keisuke Shimoyamada, the chairman.
Especially in 2023, the 72nd National Conference of Junior Chamber International Japan will be held in Tokyo for the first time in 32 years. and more than 100 members of various member chambers, including JCI President Aso, as well as 4 JCI members from overseas that have a sister relationship with JCI Tokyo. With the participation of all the members, we were able to welcome the beginning of the new year's movement in a spectacular manner with a meal for the first time in three years as a New Year's party.

Presidential lease transfer type
Four past presidents took the podium, and the Presidential Lease, which has been inherited from the beginning of JCI Tokyo's founding, was conveyed from Kenta Yamamoto, the former president, to Keisuke Shimoyamada, the president.
President's message
After the presidential lease was delivered, he presented on the stage the policy of JCI Tokyo's movement in 2023, including the national convention Tokyo convention, and announced the necessity and vision of creating a new social system.I sent a message to the overseas sister LOM members while interweaving the speech in English at the beginning.

Mr. Motoharu Kobayashi, the chairman of the board in 1991, when the last national convention was held in Tokyo, and Mr. Shimoyamada, the chairman of the board of directors, had a conversation. I had a talk with Chairman Shimoyamada from the perspective.
