Wanpaku wrestlers who have won tournaments in various places not only from all over Japan, but also from as far away as Mongolia for the first time in 3 years participated in the tournament. .

It was the first two-day schedule in the history of the Naughty Sumo Tournament, with the 1st to 4th rounds for 5th and 1th graders on the first day, the 4st to 2th rounds for 6th graders on the second day, and final tournaments for each grade. .

The Naughty Sumo National Tournament, which is held in July every year, will be held in October due to the influence of Corona, and we have taken measures to accept naughty wrestlers from all over the country and return to their hometowns safely.

Former Fuji TV announcer Tsuneo Shiobara, cartoonist and good-looking Mitsuru Yaku, and former women's amateur sumo world champion Maikasei Nozaki commented on the heated battles on both days as if they were live sumo wrestling. I was excited by the live performance. The video is archived on YouTube, so please take a look.

Unfortunately, it was not possible for general visitors to watch the match at the venue. I was able to set up and watch the game in real time.In addition, at the same venue, we will hold an illustration exhibition by Tetsuya Chiba, who was in charge of the illustrations from the 1st to the 36th, and give visitors an opportunity to learn about the history of the Naughty Sumo Tournament. I was allowed to.

Mr. Shinji Negi, the captain of Japan's wheelchair basketball team at the 2000 Sydney Paralympics, came to the Youth Olympic Center, where the naughty wrestlers were staying, to support the naughty wrestlers and give a lecture. It was a hot lecture where both the losing wrestlers and the wrestling wrestlers who won were filled with new fighting spirit!

During the two days of the event, prize-winning works from a children's drawing contest between Japan and Mongolia were exhibited to celebrate the 2th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with Mongolia, further fostering momentum for international friendship.

In addition, the Japan E-Sports Organization held the "Edmond Honda Challenge" to learn "courage, courtesy, and gratitude," which are the keywords of naughty sumo through e-sports.It was also featured in the media, and was able to play a role in increasing awareness of naughty sumo.
At the same venue, we exhibited the policies implemented by the Junior Chamber International Tokyo this year, and we were able to get a lot of support from the leaders and guardians.

Once again, we ask for your continued support for the Naughty Sumo National Tournament next year.
