March regular meeting ~Let's think about everyone's town using ICT~
On March 3th (Monday), an event called ``Let's think about everyone's town using ICT'' was held at Bellesalle Kanda.
The March regular meeting was supervised by the Political and Administrative Policy Committee and was held as a study session on mechanisms for co-creating local communities between citizens and the government, with the theme of ``Resident Participation System Utilizing ICT''. On the day of the event, lecturers included Katsuhiko Matsumura, Deputy Mayor of Setagaya Ward, and Yoko Kobayashi, Mayor of Kodaira Ward, who gave lectures on the forefront of co-creation in the government and private sector.

Part 1 Keynote Speech
In the first part, a keynote speech was given by Katsuhiko Matsumura, Deputy Mayor of Setagaya Ward. The instructor is from Cybozu Co., Ltd. and is currently active as the vice mayor in charge of DX. On the day of the event, he gave a lecture on topics such as ``Why is resident participation necessary in the first place?'' based on initiatives in Setagaya Ward.
Part 2 Case study
In the second part, Kenichiro Itai from the Digital Government Promotion Office, Corporate Planning Department, Yokosuka City Hall, and Kenjiro Higashi from Code for Japan, a general incorporated association, presented actual examples of citizen participation systems that utilize ICT. .
Part 3 Participatory planning
In the third part, we used LINE Open Chat and ChatGPT together to provide a simulated experience of expressing opinions to the government using ICT. As citizens of a fictitious local government, participants were asked to share their thoughts and concerns about the local community.
Part 4 Roundtable discussion
In the fourth part, three lecturers, including Yoko Kobayashi, Mayor of Kodaira, held a roundtable discussion on the needs of a resident participation system for both the government and citizens, and the efforts necessary for "co-creation" between the government and citizens. I did.
